Using fine needles and the gentlest of techniques, Classical Chinese and Japanese acupuncture are effective treatments for a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions. After a full case history and assessment, which includes pulse reading and abdominal palpation, a treatment plan will be formulated. Depending on the situation the initial visit will take up to an hour or longer. Follow-ups may take up to an hour also, but may be shorter. The strength of a treatment does not always depend on its length. Although I don’t specialise in any specific conditions these are some areas that are of particular interest to me.
Acupuncture And Herbal Treatment For Fertility
Acupuncture has been recognised as an effective method of increasing fertility and assisting the success of other fertility treatments. Classical Chinese herbal and acupuncture treatment aims to raise the fertility of both men and women by rebalancing the Qi, to improve the quality of eggs and sperm, improving your reproductive system’s blood flow and balancing hormone levels. As a result, the amount of assisted fertility cycles you have can be reduced or you can opt for less invasive assisted fertility procedures
Since it normally takes time for a patient to benefit from Classical Chinese Medicine, we recommend starting this treatment before you embark on assisted fertility treatment

First we assess your Mizaj (Temperament) in terms of Phlegmatic, Sanguine, Melancholic or Choleric and their associated humours. After taking your pulse a combination of herbal and dietary therapy is prescribed to rebalance the humours. One of the main sources of Unani medicine is the Cannon of medicine by Ibn Sina.
Ayurvedic Medicine
In India and Pakistan, Ayurvedic and Unani Medicine are often practiced together as they share many of the same herbs. In Ayurveda we also assess constitutional types (Vata, Pita and Kapha) and utilize herbal remedies, particularly the application of herbal oils on the skin.
